Jendelakita.my.id. - As governor, I want to improve the provincial budget by focusing on three main pillars: Efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
Efficiency: I'm going to do a thorough review of the existing budget posts. Programs that are ineffective or overlapping will be re-evaluated and prioritized. Technology and innovation will be adopted to increase spending efficiency and minimize waste. The primary focus is ensuring that every rupiah of the budget is used optimally for the benefit of society.
Transparency: The entire budgeting process will be open to the public. The financial statements will be published periodically and readily available to the public. For example, public participation mechanisms will be enhanced through discussion forums, consultations, and community supervision. The aim is to create public confidence and ensure accountability in budget management.
Accountability: Internal surveillance systems will be strengthened to prevent corruption and deviance. Cooperation with law enforcement will be enhanced to crack down on any violations. Any official involved in budget management will be fully responsible for its performance. A fair and transparent reward and punishment system will be implemented to motivate good performance and prevent deviant behavior.
For a concrete example, I'll prioritize the budget for:
Infrastructure improvement: Improvement of roads, bridges, and drainage to reduce congestion and flooding.
Improving the quality of education: Enhancing educational facilities and infrastructure, as well as providing training for teachers.
Improving community welfare: Providing social assistance to needy communities and creating jobs.
Creative economic development: Supporting the development of SMEs and creative industries.
Preservation of culture and environment: preserving culture and maintaining a sustainable environment.
All these programs will be run on efficiency, transparency, and accountability principles to ensure success and positively impact society.
